I write because there have been some recent developments over here at Videas! We have a new page titled Videos We Likewhere we share the videos that Inspire our art. This will be updated on a regular basis and please feel free to voice your opinions about the videos on the bottom of the page. Secondly we have some updates in red onThe Queue page, so if you want to stay updated on current projects, that's the place to do it. I hope all is well and I hope you all got a chance to see my latest video, Not Over You, listed below. Thanks again for visiting Videas,
This video, directed by Nick Marcucci features Patrick Dillon Curry performing the pop single from Gavin Degraw's album, Sweeter (song by Ryan Tedder and Gavin Degraw).
Although our angle on this song, to a certain degree, was already established in the original music video, this venue provides an opportunity for the promotion of Videas.(shameless?) We figured by targeting pop songs that people are actually researching on youtube, we might rangle a few more artists into the cause.
Arranged by PDC (using only his guitar/ his voice/ and garageband)
Hope you enjoy it and remember, we eagerly await your ideas. With a couple of movies in pre production and some scripts floating in the ether, art is on the horizon.
Love, hate, like and comment.
Only on Videas: Where your ideas and mine become immortal.
I know that the blog has been slow. Something that I didn't anticipate when conceiving it was that as the Ideas come in from different sources they take an extraordinary amount of time to process and mount. That said, I am very excited to announce the completion of a new script, Table for Three, by Krista Marie Yu, Nick Marcucci, and Me. :) We are hoping to start production soon and for any of you out there watching Videas, who would like to participate, Acting, Production, or Post, consider this an open Invite!
It appears that the Ideas are beginning to flow. I've had three new video concepts over the past 2 weeks and they are looking to be pretty big projects. Don't let your Idea get pushed to the back of the Queue. Submit now.
Hi there. I just wanted to thank you all for your support. The Cherry Cherry Video got over 60 hits in the 20 hours that it's been up. Not huge I know but It's the fastest pick up that we've had yet! I attribute the buzz to you, the Videas Followers. So I would like to encourage you to take it one step further. i ask that you promoteVideas using our new video as the tag. Simply copy this link:http://videaskeepcoming.blogspot.com/and toss it up on your twitter, your Facebook, or blog of your own. I can't spread the word without you! thanks again,
Ladies and Gentleman,
A Video that my friends and I take quite a bit of pride in. This cover of Neil Diamond's Cherry Cherry, more or less fell into our laps and two days later onto the World Wide Web. Starring actor/singer/comedian Nick Marcucci, actor/comedian/and all around personality, the beautiful Sallie Eskins, and on this go, Actor/Singer/Director, Patrick Dillon Curry. This video will throw you back to its origins while keeping you all too current. Enjoy, Love, Hate Like and comment. And as always I eagerly await your ideas.
This Video starring M. Cody Westgaard, Kaleigh Cronin, Taylor Humboldt, Joe Ventricelli, Krista Marie Yu, Dick Block, Olivia Harris, and Denver Milord, took the Carnegie Mellon Holiday Roast 2010 by storm. Cody's portrayal of the famed kitchen cleaner, Mr. Clean is a sight to behold. Hate, Love, Like, and Comment.
Sorry I haven't had any videos posted lately. Moving back to LA has been very eventful, but as you can see, things are queueing up and we are always looking for new Ideas here, where Videas Keep Coming. So shoot them our way and tell your friends about a video that you liked if you saw it on this page!! new videos soon. I promise. yours,
So I am in the Denver Airport and I gotta say it is hard to get airport footage/ airplane footage without a shooting license. Next time I am totally going for the window seat. Headed back to LA. No complaints here, anybody on the east coast, my condolences on the weather. So hit me with your projects. I am reunited with my team and all my equipment and just looking to make some art eh? Thanks for watching,
Hi everyone. Admittedly this video is somewhat out of season. It was created as a roast of our faculty members last year in the Carengie Mellon School of Drama. It was a hit then and falls under the rather weird category now but I invite you all to watch, whether you love, hate, like, comment or follow is up to you.
So as you can see, the blog is undergoing some changes I think for the better. It should be more navigable now. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment. yours,
As promised the newest of my videos is up and running, for your, and the world's eyes only. Gotta say, even I think this one is a little strange but the point of this video is to prove that no idea is too small or under developed. The point is to simply immortalize ideas with a camera and we're gonna do it one frame at a time. Comment away, hate, love and follow.
Keep you posted on the next adventure and in return you pave the way.
Well, Today has been a very eventful day. I was lucky enough to have a lot of friends view the unveiling of my new and exciting blog. I only hope to get everyone else involved! I have a few videos in the works and am eagerly awaiting your new Ideas. I thank all of you who checked me out today and hope to hear from you soon with your comments. yours,
Actor/ Singer/ Comedian Tess Primack's parody of the News, teamed with Actor/ Singer Matt Neurnberger bring this "SuperShort" alive. And if Santa came to Pittsburgh I couldn't choose anyone better to cover the story.
directing credit- Me :)
editing/lighting/ film credit- Bart Cortright
A best friend of mine had an Idea and thanks to the good humor of our beloved faculty member Dick Block, we were able to put this puppy together. Special credit to Nick Marcucci, fellow LA actor, writer, musician and comic genius and once again to Bart Cortright.
Red Bull, the modern savior. Music, Directing and Concept were mine but thanks are due also to filmography extraordinaire Bart Cortright for lighting, editing.
This was a hell of a lot of fun and an early project. Also a good example of how far a simple idea can really go.
Send'm in don't be shy and the more you have the better!
This video I made in a pinch out of some stock to show to some agents in LA. Pieces of it you will recognize from other videos of mine. Think of this as an introduction.
